Weekly restaurant spotlight: Indochine

Although one of the most important keys to mindful eating is learning to cook, we all love to dine out from time to time as well. There are thousands of hotspots around Halifax to choose from for your night on the town, but some stick out more then others when it comes to creativity, ecological responsibility, nutritional value and flavour.

This weeks spotlight is shining on one of my favourite quick spots in the city to a grab a delicious, unique and healthy meal.

Indochine Banh Mi located at 1151 South Park Street This has been one of my go to spots for years for many reasons, but mainly because it combines the flavour and creativity of a expensive ethnic food restaurant with the price and convenience of McDonalds. The healthy veggie packed menu includes delicious picks such as Munch Boxes, Noodle bowls, tacos and soup bowls which are sure to satisfy the palates of ethnic food lovers, vegetarians and foodies alike!

Make sure to grab a bubble tea on your way out made with real fruit and tapioca pearls- it is truly a worldly experience!

Happy healthy munching!!
